Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas! I hope everyone is having a great holiday. I know in some cases like mine, it is unfortunately more like surviving the holiday, but things are always on their way to getting better. Although my little Canyon would probably be thrilled with a drum set since it fits his wild attitude perfectly, he settled for a keyboard. When I was little other than spending all day outside in the mud (some things never change), my favorite thing to do was to pound away on the piano. This turned into a life-long love of music, especially the piano. As I got older and could actually read music, I would spend hours and hours each week playing Christmas music---all year round. Amazing my family didn't sell me :) I haven't had a piano since I left home 10 years ago, but play whenever I can find one. Canyon (perhaps all children do) really loves playing piano as well when we go to Grandma and Pop-Pops. My playing sessions have turned into duets as Canyons little fists try to keep up with my fingers. Perhaps I should gift my family with earplugs? Since a piano for us is still out of reach at this point, the keyboard will have to do. Santa came early for him as yesterday his Dad took him to Kentucky to visit his family. Needless to say, the keyboard is a hit! Best thing about it? Volume control. I love technology!Oh ya, for any of you who live here and feel like coming up to PC tonight 6ish or whenever, I am having friends over for dinner (or just to hang out) and to watch my favorite Chritmas movie (if that fails, we can watch bike races or your favorite xmas movie if you bring it). Let me know if you're interested...Love you all!
